WVCI now offers patients secure, online access to medical records

Through the Cancer Patient Network, Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center is pleased to offer patients secure, instant access to information about their diagnosis, medications, lab results and more.
   
We are United in Healing with the US Oncology Network, part of McKesson Specialty Health (MSH). As our partner in delivering exceptional community-based cancer care, MSH is helping make secure access to health records available to patients in a convenient and easy-to-access online format.
   
The Cancer Patient Network enables patients to access their Personal Health Record (PHR) at any time. After logging in to the secure account, patients can view the following:

• demographic information
• diagnosis
• medications
• allergies
• lab results

How do you enroll?

1. To ensure your privacy and the security of your medical record, please enroll when you are at a Willamette Valley Cancer Institute clinic. Simply tell a staff member that you’re interested, and we’ll help get you started.

2. Sign a waiver form giving us permission to provide you access to your health information via the Internet.

3. Receive an email (usually within 48 hours of visiting the clinic) and follow the instructions to create your online account.

4. Keep your password and login information. If you’ve lost it, visit the site and use the “forgot password” or “forgot username” links to recover them.

Acessing your account
After you have completed the above steps, you can access your account by visiting www.cancerpatientnetwork.com and logging in with your username and password.
